Nominee of the Archdiocesan Finance Council

Jeremy has worked for the Archdiocese of Brisbane since 1993 and was appointed Financial Administrator in 2004.  Jeremy was educated by the Sisters of St Joseph at the Hendra Catholic Primary School and by the Christian Brothers at St Joseph’s Gregory Terrace.

After graduating with a business degree in accounting from Queensland University of Technology, he commenced work with Chartered Accountants Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).  He remained with them for seven years in audit and taxation services.  After one year with Chartered Accountants Touche Ross & Co, he commenced work as the Financial Controller of Stallion Technologies – a Brisbane based Computer Company with branches in the U.K., Germany, Singapore and U.S.A.

After five years there he commenced work with the Archdiocese.  In 2000 he completed his MBA with the University of Southern Queensland.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and an affiliate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries.  Apart from membership and attendance at many Archdiocesan Boards and Councils, he is also the director of Church Resources Board of Management.
