Dr Judith Mulholland

Judith is a graduate of the University of Queensland with degrees in Science and Education Studies.  She also has a Master of Science (Science Education) degree and a PhD from Curtin University of Technology.

She worked as a science teacher and educator at QIT and secondary schools in England (1968-1972) and as a sessional staff member at the Mt. Gravatt College of Advanced Education (1982-89).  Judith joined the staff at McAuley College in July 1990.  Thus she has been at Australian Catholic University since its inception and was  Head of the School of Education there from 2005-2012. She was an Adjunct Professor of ACU 2013-16.

Her major areas of interest are science education and primary teacher education.  She has published and conducted research in these areas.  In 2008 she received an ALTC citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning at a tertiary level.
Judith is married to Robert and they have five adult children and eleven grandchildren. Her children attended, St Agatha's school, St Rita's College and Nudgee College. She is an active member of St Agatha's parish.
