Ms Balveen Ajimal is an agile and collaborative leader with an entrepreneurial spirit who has a strong background in international business, law, private equity, and transformation. She has worked across a variety of disciplines and industries and has a thorough understanding of sustainable organisational growth. Most recently, Balveen held the roles of Director of Sustainability and Director of Precincts and Operations with Queensland Ballet during which time she oversaw significant changes in strategy and operations, board governance, impact measurement and major capital projects. She is also the Founder of Community Capital and Grace Street Consulting, offering bespoke board and executive advice to charities and not-for-profits in relation to governance, strategy, corporate and legal issues, and government relations. Balveen holds a Bachelor and Masters in Jurisprudence (Hons) from Oxford University, and is a director of the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Foundation Board.
